The reason for this was because I was used to games in which would be called RTS and first-person shooters. However just recently I decided to give this game and another shot. And first again took some getting used to especially the controller. However as I started to play more of the game and the storyline began to build I felt myself immersed in a epic adventure of conquest, destiny and revenge.

In God of war you are Kratos and your goal is to murder the God of war. Throughout the game there is much action and upgrades for your character. There are really cool moves your character can learn like it collecting red orbs. Finishing moves and a great deal of detail to this game. It was a word it 2000 and 5K miles a year by play magazine, games, PSM, sound and vision and IDN. It was also "One of the most spectacular action titles to grace the PS2" says Yahoo games.

While moving through this game you will come across many many puzzles which require some thinking however you feel great accomplishment once completed. The graphics on this game are good and the different societies and variation of units really adds to the feel. When first visiting Athens and witnessing the God of war and action. I was breathtaking by the size of him and the battle raging on around him.

I highly recommend this game as it now very low cost to get and is a fun and interactive games to play.
